When built in 2000, Ashford’s outlet village was the longest continuous tent structure in the world, designed as a ring of tensile structure encircling a central parking area. Lighting was implemented to transform each canvas at night into a parade of glowing lanterns, enhancing the unique site identity whilst fulfilling the functional lighting requirements.
