Sycamore House has transformed the 93,000sq. ft. 1980s former office and storage facility into a flexible multi-tenanted building with two floors of tailor-made offices and laboratories for biomedical start-ups, scale ups and mature companies. The building is located at the Stevenage BioScience Campus and aims to create a highly collaborative community environment where businesses at varying stages of their life cycle can learn from one another.
Our scope of work included main entrance lobby and cafe with feature staircase, meeting rooms, Ground and First Floor circulation spaces (double height) and the winter gardens with breakout areas. Externally, our scope included the entry portal, external ramps and landscape features and a new cycle enclosure.
The project is currently under construction and due for completion in late 2021.
