6 Agar Street is a major 57,891 sq. ft. Grade 2 listed commercial office building located in Covent Garden. The interior design of the reception space established the design direction and aesthetic palette for the entire refurbishment programme. The energy efficient lighting design was an integral to the success of the project which achieved a BREEAM “Excellent” rating on completion.
We were responsible for the lighting of the ground floor reception and the shell and core areas of the upper floors. A notable feature of the exterior are the backlit soffit panels of the semi-circular balconies on the Agar Street elevation. Energy use and sustainability were key considerations whilst developing our design for the project.
