We designed a playful, interactive colour-changing LED lighting scheme as part of the refurbishment of an existing external arcade which links The Strand to Embankment Gardens in London.
The scheme was comprised of an array of ceiling mounted interlocking hexagons controlled by presence detectors which initiated changes in the lighting sequence as pedestrians passed through the arcade. In addition, ambient lighting to the floor space was provided by surface mounted warm white LED downlights.
