WHITEHART LANE STATION UPGRADE

Client: Transport for London
Architect: LDA Design
Location: London, UK
Status: Due for completion in 2021

This project is part of an upgrade to the exterior of White Hart Lane Overground Station which is being implemented as part of a coordinated regeneration programme by TfL and the London Borough of Haringey.

We were appointed for the lighting design to the new public realm and the area immediately adjacent to the station itself. The scheme will deliver interchange and way finding improvements to ensure enhanced connections with the local area.

In addition to providing improvements to the public realm lighting, the scheme proposes to highlight the arches of the railway viaduct and illuminate the facade of the station building in order to prioritise the lighting of vertical surfaces and silhouette pedestrian movement in and around the station.
