We were appointed to design the lighting for all the front of house areas for both Holiday Inn and Ibis Hotels at Manchester Airport. The public areas include reception, lounges, all day dining, specialist restaurant, meeting rooms, gym and rooftop crew lounge facilities.
Reflecting upon the hotel’s strategy as a 24-hour operational environment and the interior designers’ vibrant material and finishes palette, the lighting schemes offers a simple, yet stylish approach utilising integrated joinery lighting, architectural lighting and decorative elements.
All areas are largely benefited by daylight and therefore the use of an intelligent lighting system accommodates the dynamic change of natural light throughout the day. Pre-programmed scene selection provides flexibility and diverse results to facilitate all the hotel’s operational needs.
