We are very pleased to share that our Managing Director, Maida Hot, featured in the latest “Up Close With” page of the designing lighting Global – VOLUME 1 ISSUE 3! 

Maida was interviewed by the editor Ray Molony, reflecting on the early steps of her lighting journey and the overall illuminating path! She shared profound insights, and lessons learned, and raised a thought-provoking question about the evolving landscape of light levels, emphasizing how crucial is to rethink these specific aspects. Also, to enhance the communications and a dynamic collaboration with the architects and the entire team.

Maida also shared some ‘tips’ for the younger designers, saying: “Look at every opportunity to gain knowledge. Look at new buildings and old buildings. There’s so much inspiration everywhere. Don’t see it as a chore, but part of you. Just looking everywhere, and make a mental note or take a photograph or whatever.” 

Last but not least, the interview is completed with Maida spotlighting one of the key aspects of lighting design – it is not just one’s profession, it’s a passion.
