We are thrilled to announce that the hashtagElizabethLine is the winner of this year’s prestigious RIBA Stirling Prize!
Amongst six exceptional projects, the Elizabeth Line has been crowned as the UK’s best new architecture.
As lighting consultants on this ground breaking project, EQUATION Lighting Design is incredibly proud to had played a key role in designing and delivering the lighting that enhances the daily experience of millions of Londoners and visitors. The judges described the Elizabeth Line as a “tour de force,” revolutionizing travel and setting a new benchmark for urban infrastructure.
This project has been a more than a decade in the making, and we’re honored to have developed the line-wide lighting design that seamlessly integrates function and innovation. From crafting forward-thinking performance specifications to preparing detailed briefing packs for luminaire manufacturers, our goal was always to future-proof the lighting for this iconic transport hub.
