Project In Progress | One Exchange Square
#ProjectInProgress | One Exchange Square
Designing with intention means testing every detail.
As part of the ongoing construction of One Exchange Square, the EQUATION Lighting Design team carried out site mock-up reviews for the roof building terrace lighting to validate design intent with the final selection of luminaires, finishes, and materials in real architectural context.
From our early concepts onwards, we dedicate a lot of care and attention to lighting details, so mock-ups are a vital part of our design process. We start from our studio’s early whiteboard mock-ups and finish with those on site. Not just to ensure the technical performance, but to achieve seamless integration within the interior design and to fine-tune how lighting shapes perception, supports comfort, and brings spatial concepts to life.
From contrast and visual hierarchy to the way surfaces reflect and absorb light, every detail is carefully considered.
This invaluable hands-on phase allows a very close liaison between design and construction teams, translating ideas into built reality with clarity, precision, and attention to what the space truly needs.
Thank you to all our collaborators and partners!
