We are proud to share that Dhara Mansata, Project Designer at EQUATION Lighting Design, presented at an SLL – Society of Light and Lighting event held at the Samsung KX showroom in Coal Drops Yard, London.

The evening explored “Contrast in Lighting” through a series of Pecha Kucha–style presentations from professionals across the industry, each bringing their own creative and personal perspective to the theme.

Dhara’s talk was an inspiring contribution to an event that celebrated the wealth of experience and diversity of voices within the lighting design profession.

Reflecting on her journey, she shared:

“My journey into lighting design began with fear, curiosity, and fascination — from a play with a small night lamp to a woman who now tells stories through skilful use of light. It shaped not just my career, but the way I see the world.”
