Last week, the EQUATION Lighting Design team was back on-site at the Nine Elms Linear Park to complete the programming and scene-setting for the completed landscape around Plots A, B, & D. The project is scheduled for completion in 2026, after almost a decade of our design and on-site involvement.

Lighting commissioning is a vital part of the process, where concepts and calculations are translated into reality. Being physically present on-site with the contractor’s team ensures that every luminaire is fine-tuned, the operation of the lighting control system optimised, and our original vision for the project fully realised.  

Collaboration is key to the success of each project, and we’re grateful to have worked alongside project partners M3 Consulting, Camlins, AECOM, Ramboll, Maylim, MDN and the Nine Elms Parkside Estate Management Company. Through this shared expertise and teamwork, the park is now coming to life as the continuous, vibrant green corridor connecting Battersea Power Station to Vauxhall originally envisioned in the Allies and Morrison masterplan for the Nine Elms Linear Park.
