#OpeningEvent | Wembley Park – Union Park North Now Open

Members of the EQUATION Lighting Design team attended the official opening ceremony of Union Park North, the newest public realm addition at Wembley Park.

The event was hosted by Quintain Limited and brought together the wider project team, community leaders, and collaborators to celebrate this milestone. It was a pleasure to walk the newly completed park alongside project partners, followed by a celebratory toast on Olympic Way.

For EQUATION Lighting Design, this moment also marks the outcome of several years of engaging design development from concepts to details, and thereafter on-site involvement.

Our lighting strategy enhances the night-time character of the park while promoting safety, comfort, and clear visual navigation. From early concepts through to the focusing phase, our team worked closely with the landscape and architectural teams to ensure light complements the materiality and ambience of the park, subtly supporting the visual experience without overwhelming it.
