#Talk in Transport Lighting Design

At EQUATION Lighting Design, we take pride in our commitment to shaping the future of lighting in transport infrastructure. A key example of this is the “Lighting Design in Stations” manual, produced on behalf of Network Rail, a significant resource now part of their official design library.

This project was led by Keith Miller, Director of EQUATION Lighting Design, whose extensive expertise in transport and infrastructure lighting was instrumental in developing a structured, best-practice approach for railway station environments.

On Wednesday, Keith presented the manual during a virtual talk as part of a Designplan Lighting promotional event in Manchester, sharing key insights on how lighting can transform station environments beyond compliance, enhancing functionality, user experience, and placemaking.

With a portfolio that includes major projects such as the Elizabeth Line, King’s Cross Station, White Hart Lane, and Paddington Station, Keith’s leadership continues to set new benchmarks in the industry.
